Meet our new Investment Partnerships Manager, Nick Pacey
Classic Collectives is growing – and we’re pleased to welcome Nick Pacey as our new Investment Partnerships Manager to help support that growth and strengthen our relationships with investors.
Nick brings an interesting mix of investment, commercial and business development experience to the role. He began his career as an engineer before moving into marketing and growing businesses. This was followed by six and a half years at Purpose Capital – an impact investment fund specialising in real assets and private equity – where he worked as an Investment Manager. At Purpose Capital, Nick worked across the full investment process, from identifying and analysing opportunities through to due diligence, negotiating deals, raising capital and post-investment management. He also led syndication activity, including a $21 million equity syndicate for solar generation company Lodestone Energy, which is now considering an IPO.
Return on investment has been a constant theme throughout Nick’s varied career. He has strong commercial instincts and the ability to assess and create value. Just as importantly, he’s a people person who genuinely enjoys talking with investors and building strong relationships.
For existing investors, this means you now have an additional experienced and approachable point of contact. Nick will work with you to answer your questions, discuss new opportunities and understand what you’re looking for, while feeding those insights back into the wider Classic Collectives team to help shape how our funds and investor offering evolve.
Nick was attracted to Classic Collectives by our strong reputation, the quality of our investments, the opportunity to grow the business and our investor-friendly fee structure. Before accepting the role, he scrutinised the funds himself, reviewing our Information Memorandums and financial models. He was particularly impressed by the fact that our directors invest alongside you and have meaningful skin in the game.
Another key part of Nick’s role will be helping to grow our investor base. Having more capital available gives us greater capacity to act when quality investment opportunities arise and add further assets to our funds, increasing diversification and spreading risk for existing investors.
Outside work, Nick lives at the Mount with his wife Emma, two-year-old son Freddie and newborn daughter Florence. He and Emma once spent three months sailing and surfing around Indonesia, but these days family walks along the beach and a growing interest in mountain biking keep them closer to home.
Nick is looking forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming AGMs – and is always happy to catch up for a chat.

Growing our Diversified Fund
Our Diversified Fund remains open to new investors as we selectively add high-quality commercial properties across different sectors and locations.
The fund now includes a mix of premium commercial assets, including large-format retail on Cameron Road in Tauranga, an industrial manufacturing facility in East Tamaki, and a potential pipeline of three new assets in 2027.
Our focus remains on building a broad, resilient portfolio spanning multiple sectors, locations, tenants and income streams. Every potential asset is carefully assessed based on its location, tenant strength and long-term fundamentals, with quality remaining our priority.
If you’re considering your next investment, get in touch with Nick (nick.pacey@classiccollectives.co.nz) or the wider Classic Collectives team. We’d be happy to talk you through the fund, answer any questions or provide you with a copy of the Information Memorandum.
